Tibetan Children's Home

The Tibetan Children's Home (TCH), located in Dhondupling Tibetan Colony, Dehra Dun, India has been helping hundreds of children since 1991. Praised by the Dalai Lama as the first institution of its kind, TCH was founded, financed and directed by Tibetans to serve needy Tibetan children.

We, the staff at TCH, invite you to assist us with our charitable efforts to provide impoverished Tibetan children with the basic necessities and a good education in a Tibetan context that will serve them for the rest of their lives. Our sponsors are typically delighted to make such an opportunity available to a needy child and many of them go on to sponsor other children. Won’t you also give one of these children the precious gift of literacy and a proper education?

Gompo is currently studying in Class III.  His family lives in a very poor section of New Delhi.  His father ekes out a living as an itinerant driver and his mother is a housewife taking care of Gompo and his two elder brothers.  Gompo's best subject is Tibetan and his best game is football.  He has been at TCH for three years but has no sponsor.
In order for him to continue his education, Gompo needs a kind sponsor.
TCH only needs $450 to support a Tibetan child for one year.
Will you be the one to support Gompo?
